About Hubberholme Maple Herringbone

Very pale and bright, Hubberholme has a washed maple look with a soft grey cast. The grain is fine and close, typical of maple, with faint streaks and a few small knots that keep it from looking flat. Some planks are a cool, chalky white while others are a warmer blonde, giving a gentle variation that suits the pattern. The matt finish adds to the airy, Scandinavian feel.

Use it to brighten small rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. It suits white and pale grey schemes, light oak furniture, linen and soft pastels, and works well against black window frames or dark accents for contrast.

Its 118 x 590mm planks give a compact herringbone with a traditional, close rhythm, well suited to period homes and smaller spaces. The same colour also comes as a plank, GF Glue Down 0.55 herringbone and GF Glue Down 0.55 plank, so one look can run through the house.

It is 100% waterproof and clicks together over its built-in underlay, and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Hubberholme Maple Herringbone

How many packs of Hubberholme Maple Herringbone do I need?

Each pack covers 2.23 m². Measure the floor area, add 15% for cutting, as patterned floors need more cuts than plank, then divide by 2.23 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 8 packs.

Is Hubberholme Maple Herringbone waterproof?

Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.

Can Hubberholme Maple Herringbone go over underfloor heating?

Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.

Can I fit it myself?

It is the quickest GF floor to fit: the planks click together and float over the subfloor, and the underlay is already attached. The subfloor still needs to be flat, clean and dry, with a 6–8mm expansion gap at every wall. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.

What is SPC flooring?

SPC stands for stone plastic composite. It is a rigid core made mostly from limestone powder, with a printed design and a clear wear layer on top. It is harder and more stable than flexible vinyl, and it is 100% waterproof.

What guarantee does it have?

It has a lifetime residential guarantee, which means 35 years from the date of purchase. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.

Can I order a free sample?

Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
