About Blenheim Oak Herringbone

Blush-beige and gentle, this oak effect sits somewhere between sand and bleached linen. The grain is fine and quiet, with soft cathedral arches and the odd faint pin knot rather than bold markings. Colour stays close from plank to plank, so the pattern reads as one even, light surface. The matt finish keeps it natural, with a clean Scandinavian feel that brightens a room without looking stark.

It suits open-plan living spaces, bedrooms and bright kitchens, and works well with white or pale sage cabinetry, light oak furniture, linen and soft grey upholstery. Brushed brass or matt black hardware both sit comfortably against it.

At 128 x 615mm, the planks form a classic herringbone that adds movement without feeling busy, a good fit for period homes and smaller rooms. The same colour also comes as a plank, so a hallway and living room can flow together.

It is 100% waterproof, with a rigid stone-composite core that clicks together and floats over the subfloor on its built-in underlay. A 0.5mm wear layer handles everyday family life in most rooms.

Frequently asked questions about Blenheim Oak Herringbone

How many packs of Blenheim Oak Herringbone do I need?

Each pack covers 2.36 m². Measure the floor area, add 15% for cutting, as patterned floors need more cuts than plank, then divide by 2.36 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 8 packs.

Is Blenheim Oak Herringbone waterproof?

Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.

Can Blenheim Oak Herringbone go over underfloor heating?

Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.

Can I fit it myself?

It is the quickest GF floor to fit: the planks click together and float over the subfloor, and the underlay is already attached. The subfloor still needs to be flat, clean and dry, with a 6–8mm expansion gap at every wall. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.

What is SPC flooring?

SPC stands for stone plastic composite. It is a rigid core made mostly from limestone powder, with a printed design and a clear wear layer on top. It is harder and more stable than flexible vinyl, and it is 100% waterproof.

What guarantee does it have?

It has a lifetime residential guarantee, which means 35 years from the date of purchase. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.

Can I order a free sample?

Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
