Where we deliver
We deliver to addresses in England, Scotland and Wales. We are not able to deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or outside the UK.
What it costs
Delivery is free on every order, whatever its size. Free samples are posted free too.
How long it takes
Delivery usually takes 2 to 5 working days from when you order. Some remote addresses, such as the Scottish Highlands and islands, can take a little longer. Any delivery date we give you is our best estimate.
After you order, we email to confirm it. We or our delivery partner will then be in touch to arrange a delivery day, Monday to Friday.
How your floor arrives
- On a pallet, by lorry. Flooring is heavy, so orders travel on a pallet on a large vehicle.
- Kerbside delivery. The driver will unload your order at the kerb or as close to your property as is safe. Drivers can’t carry goods into your home, upstairs or through to a room, so please have someone on hand to help move the packs inside.
- Someone needs to be in. Please make sure someone aged 18 or over is there to receive and check the delivery.
Before you order
- Check that a large vehicle can reach your address. If there are narrow roads, low bridges, weight limits or other access problems, please tell us using our contact form before you order.
- Order all the flooring for a room at the same time, so it all comes from the same production batch.
- Please don’t book your fitter until your floor has arrived and you have checked it. Delivery dates are estimates, and we can’t cover fitters’ fees or lost time if a delivery is late or something needs replacing.
- Leave time for your floor to acclimatise in the room before fitting. Each GF installation guide says how long.
When your floor arrives
- Check the number of packs against your order and look over the packaging before the driver leaves.
- If any packaging is damaged, write “damaged” on the driver’s paperwork and take photos.
- Please tell us about any damaged, missing or wrong items within 48 hours of delivery using our contact form, with photos if you can. This helps us put things right quickly. It does not affect your legal rights.
- Don’t fit any flooring that is damaged or not what you ordered. Contact us first and we will sort it out.
Missed deliveries
If nobody is in when the delivery has been booked, or the vehicle can’t reach your address because of access you didn’t tell us about, we may need to charge for a second delivery. We will always tell you the cost first.
